Buy Pokémon single cards at BESCARDS
Missing a card from your favourite set? Looking for a specific Pokémon or another copy of a card for your deck? Pokémon singles let you choose exactly what you buy. Browse the individual Pokémon cards at BESCARDS and compare the set, language, card number and listed condition before adding to your collection.
Buying single cards takes the guesswork out of finding a particular card. You can work through a set checklist, collect different illustrations of one Pokémon or pick a card simply because you like the artwork.
Find the right version of a Pokémon card
A Pokémon's name is only the starting point. The same character can appear in different expansions, with several illustrations or finishes. Even cards with similar artwork may belong to different releases. When matching a card to your collection, check these details:
- Set and card number: use both to identify the version you need.
- Language: check that it matches your collection or intended use.
- Finish: look for the listed version, such as holo or reverse holo, where applicable.
- Condition: read the condition description and any notes on the listing.
- Quantity: confirm how many copies you are ordering.
If you are unsure which version a listing refers to, contact support@bescards.com before ordering. Include the product name or link so we can help with the specific card.
Complete a set or collect your favourite Pokémon
As your collection grows, opening more packs can leave you with duplicates while the same gaps remain in your binder. Buying individual Pokémon cards lets you focus on those missing numbers. Keep a checklist of the cards you already own and note whether you are collecting one version of each card or additional finishes as well.
You can also build a collection around a favourite Pokémon. A binder dedicated to Pikachu, Charizard or Eevee can bring together cards from different years, languages and expansions. There is no need to collect every card from a set if only a few catch your eye.
Pokémon singles for your deck
Single cards are useful when you have a deck list in mind and need particular cards to complete it. Check the full card name and its game text rather than relying on the illustration alone. Different cards featuring the same Pokémon can serve very different roles.
For organised play, check the current rules for your format, including card legality and permitted languages. An older card or a card in another language may suit your collection without being suitable for the event you want to enter.
Understanding card condition
Condition matters when choosing Pokémon singles. Read the grade or description attached to the individual listing rather than assuming every card is in the same condition. Pay attention to any information about surface wear, edges, corners or creases.
A condition label is not a promise of a particular grading result. If you intend to submit a card for professional grading, make your choice based on the available details and ask about anything important that the listing does not explain.
Should you buy singles or open booster packs?
If you want a specific card, buying it individually gives you certainty about which card you receive. If you enjoy discovering cards as you open them, Pokémon booster packs offer that experience. Their contents are random, so a particular card is not guaranteed.
Many collectors combine both approaches: open some packs from an expansion, then buy the singles they still need. For a wider selection of products, browse our full Pokémon cards collection. You can also explore our Japanese Pokémon collection if you collect Japanese releases.
Store and protect your single cards
Have sleeves ready for cards you want to keep. A suitable binder makes it easier to organise a set, while a toploader adds support when storing or transporting an individual sleeved card. Avoid forcing cards into pockets or holders that are too tight.
Browse our card sleeves, binders and TCG accessories to find storage for your collection. Keep your cards somewhere dry and away from direct sunlight.
Sell your duplicate Pokémon cards
If you have duplicates or cards you no longer collect, check the BESCARDS buylist. You can see which cards we are currently buying, review the available offers and read the condition requirements before submitting your cards.
